Recently, DONJIN has released the new software package DJKeygoe V3.0.3 for Linux for Keygoe multimedia switches based on the Linux platform. It is the biggest update since DONJIN released the application software package based on the Linux platform in March of 2010. The new package not only integrates all the new Keygoe features released before, such as the analog port voltage detection, SS7 high-speed link 2 M, and 3G video, but also provides a more powerful, flexible, and wider development/application support of IP voice processing, network management, and operating system platform for customer services.

By the advantages of low construction cost, high security and reliability, the Linux operating system has been widely used in the built-in system, device, server, desktop, and so on. The latest Linux operating system support of DONJIN Keygoe V3.0.3 for Linux will help application software developers and system integrators in the CTI industry make the product delivery more economical and flexible. Furthermore, it might develop new industry applications.

For the IP voice processing, based on DJKeygoe V3.0.3 for Linux, one DONJIN Keygoe multimedia switch can process a maximum of 3840 VoIP channels; a 1U (standard unit height) device can process a maximum of 480 VoIP channels. With the features of large capacity and high density, it provides powerful performances for the voice processing (intensive voice playing and recording) in the IP networks such as the IMS and NGN. By supporting the SIP and with the carrier-level machine design, DONJIN Keygoe multimedia switch can be used as a media resource function controller (MRFC) in an IMS network, and it can provide the resources for processing each kind of service applications (including the video) based on the IMS.

For the network management, DJKeygoe V3.0.3 for Linux supports the simple network management protocol (SNMP). You can add the client side to monitor and manage the system running of the Keygoe multimedia switches, such as the link statuses, channel statuses, DSP statuses, network errors, module errors, and hardware running statuses (system power supply, fan rotating speed, chassis temperature, and so on). Supporting the SNMP simplifies the development/maintenance of the service system management for the customers; in addition, it makes the service system more reliable.
